What if a recruitment firm was built like a SaaS company?

That’s the question that sparked Ocean Red Partners.

I’ve spent 19 years in recruitment, 17 of which were agency-side, and two as Head of Talent. But it was my time inside SteelEye, a leading FinTech, that changed everything. I saw how product, engineering, sales, and marketing worked in sprints, qualified every decision, and iterated fast. It wasn’t chaotic, it was customer-led, agile, and aligned.

And I thought: why isn’t hiring done this way?

So I built Ocean Red Partners like a product. We apply the same agile principles to recruitment, working in sprints, tightening feedback loops, and treating hiring like a commercial process, not an admin task.

We work with trading tech firms, hedge funds, fintechs, and energy players to deliver strategic hires that create edge, not noise.

Recruitment done properly isn’t a cost. It’s a multiplier. That’s what we do.

I started Ocean Red because I was tired of how transactional recruitment had become, CVs flung over, inboxes spammed, no real understanding of what makes a great hire. I’ve been in recruitment for nearly two decades, and I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in trading tech, Commodities, and Investment tech.

But honestly? The magic happens when you treat hiring like a strategy, not a checkbox.

Ocean Red is my way of doing things properly: high-touch, insight-led, agile. Built more like a SaaS product than a traditional agency. Because great recruitment isn’t about volume, it’s about impact.

I’m based in Essex, work across global markets, and thrive on the challenge of solving messy hiring problems in niche, competitive spaces.

Outside of work, I’m an endurance runner, Arsenal sufferer, and film obsessive (Forrest Gump is still undefeated). I read a lot of business and mindset books, anything that challenges the norm, and I like building things that last.
