Your Role at a Glance

  • Data Innovation: Design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions for financial datasets, including curves, volatility cubes, and correlation matrices.
  • Optimize Systems: Collaborate with Quant Developers to enhance the performance and reliability of data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
  • Code with Impact: Build scalable, high-performance tools using Python, SQL, and Snowflake to process and validate large-scale financial datasets.
  • Support Compliance: Document methodologies to meet validation standards for internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Expertise: M.S. or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Engineering preferred, with 3-5 years of Python and SQL development experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in additional programming languages (C++, Java) and financial data structures (yield curves, volatility surfaces, etc.).
  • Finance Knowledge: Understanding of derivatives and risk management tools like VaR and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Mindset: A proactive learner and collaborative team player, ready to tackle complex problems with precision and creativity.
