The Role

As a Regulatory Reporting Developer, you’ll be part technologist, part problem solver, and part business partner. You’ll work hands-on with a modern reporting platform, improving its capability and ensuring new trading activity is captured cleanly under evolving regimes.

You’ll collaborate with compliance, middle office, and analysts, but also bring engineering best practices—automation, CI/CD, observability—to make reporting faster, more reliable, and easier to adapt.

This isn’t just about keeping up with the rules—it’s about building smarter, more resilient technology that supports growth in new asset classes, markets, and geographies.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

• Owning the development and enhancement of the regulatory reporting platform
• Translating new regulatory requirements into technical solutions that work at scale
• Supporting live reporting flows, troubleshooting and improving speed, accuracy, and coverage
• Partnering with compliance, middle office, and external vendors to meet reporting obligations
• Embedding modern engineering practices—automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring—to strengthen the platform for the long term
• Playing an active role in agile ceremonies and helping drive delivery across sprints

What makes you a great fit:

• Strong programming background in Java with solid SQL/database skills
• Experience delivering regulatory reporting solutions in commodities or financial services
• A problem-solver who can simplify complex reporting flows into clean, scalable solutions
• Familiarity with DevOps best practices (automation, CI/CD, orchestration, observability)
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and hybrid infrastructure setups
• 10+ years total experience, with 3+ in regulatory reporting or compliance technology
